Through the North Carolina Film and Entertainment Grant, productions are eligible for a full 25% rebate of direct in-state spending. Qualifying expenses include all labor and purchases and services rendered from in-state vendors.

North Carolina has more than 3,700 highly skilled film professionals across the state. Among the well-versed crew base are 75 members of the International Cinematographers Guild, 26 members of the PGA, and 90 DGA members, and 800+ IATSE members.

With 543 miles of filmable locations within the state, North Carolina’s mountains, hills, cities, towns, and beaches give its film industry the ability to shoot almost every scene imaginable.

With a focus on the film industry since 1980, North Carolina has developed a network of small businesses that know and understand the business and its unique needs.
